Church Services

Church Services are held every week at 11am

Every week we practise to enhance the worship in church. Most choir members try to come to as many services as they can.

However we do like as many choir as posssible on Good Friday, Easter Day, Harvest, Carol Service and Christmas Day

Voice for Life

The younger members also have fun after choir practices most weeks until 8.15pm, playing games, preparing for Family Services and working in groups towards our Voice for Life awards. This is a scheme to aid musical knowledge, singing and learning about the choir's place in worship.

It doesn't matter if you haven't a wonderful voice it will improve with practice. You don't need to be able to read music. Much of what we sing can be learnt by listening carefully. Gradually you will find that you csn read music.

Other Fun

Singing is not the only thing we do. We have an Easter egg hunt, we go Carol Singing, we play rounders on the Common, we have barbecues, we have a trip out occasionally, but what ever we do we seem to make a lot of noise and eat a lot!(The more vigorous activities are not compulsory for the adults!)
